The National Poverty Reduction with Growth Strategy (NPRGS) is a comprehensive, 10-year development blueprint launched by the Federal Government of Nigeria in 2021, with the ambitious target of lifting 100 million Nigerians out of poverty by 2031. It reflects a bold and strategic shift toward inclusive, sustainable development—focusing on economic growth that directly benefits the most vulnerable members of society. The NPRGS is rooted in collaboration, drawing strength from a multi-stakeholder framework that includes the Federal and State Governments, private sector players, development partners, civil society organizations (CSOs), and the diaspora community. Together, these partners are driving impactful reforms, building livelihoods, and promoting access to opportunities across all 36 states and the FCT.
